M.D. Prof. Altan Kır was a visiting physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London in 1996 and at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York in 1999. In 2002, he obtained his Assoc. Prof. Degree. In 2011, he received robotic thoracic surgery training in Belgium. His fields of interest are; locally invasive lung cancer, main airway and carina resections, tuberculosis surgery and of course any kind of thoracic robotic surgical interventions and technologies.
