M.D. Prof. Yeşim Yıldırım gained a scholarship from the Middle East Cancer Consortium during her fellowship in 2004, and attended an advanced training program in the field of oncology at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. In 2005, she received the Hans Wyder Fellowship from the European School of Oncology (ESO) for an advanced course in immunology for Oncologists. In the same year, she also received a grant from the Orazio Rudell Fellowship to attend the Colorectal Conference. In 2007, she finished her medical oncology fellowship and became a medical oncology specialist.
