What is Parkinson's Disease?

Parkinson’s disease is a chronic and progressive disease and mostly affects people older than 65 years. The disease is caused by the reduction of a substance named dopamine. The most common symptoms of the disease are: slowing of walking and other movements, tremors of hands and feet especially during rest, rigidity and hardness of the muscles, reduced postural reflexes.
